In the 1678 census of Port Royal, Michel Forest is a widower living
on four acres with three cows, two calves, one gun, and four boys ages
12, 10, 8, and 3 (born in 1666, 1668, 1670, and 1675, respectively) and
two girls, ages 6 and 4, born in 1672 and 1674.
