AN EARLIER NATURALIZATION PAPER FOR URBAIN BOUTIN WAS FOUND in the naturalization records for Benton County, MN. However, this paper was headed as Territory of MN, County of Lapointe and stated that Urbain Boutin, aged thirty, was born on the fifteenth day of June, 1819 in "Upper Canada." Dudley, clerk of U.S. Court

The evidence indicates that some time after 1885, Urbain Boutin returned to his family of origin in Canada. He appears, near several of his siblings, on the 1891 Census of Canada in Ste-Marguerite, Dorchester, Quebec. He died there in June of 1900.
