    Dans l'acte de sépulture, il est dit Nicolas Laurence veuf de Napoline Gervais. Le curé a donc retenu le nom de ses parents et a tout confondu dans l'acte. Car son père, Nicolas, est décédé le 1er avril 1899 à St-Jean-de-Matha et il n'y a aucun autre Laurence marié à une Gervais pour cette période. Mais sur la fiche de décès BSQ 1926-1997, il n'y a pas de prénom, ce qui est l'équivalent de Joseph pour cette base de données, et sa date de naissance est le 4 mai 1851, ce qui correspond bien à la date que Joseph indique dans le recensement de 1901 et 1911 et ce qui lui donne bien les 83 ans indiqués dans l'acte.
