Borne November 1, 1640 at la Jarne, Canton de La Jarrie; parroise Note Dame de Cogne, Ville Arrondissement et Eveche, La Rochelle, France.
On April 5, 1656 Pierre signed a contract at La Rochelle in front of the Notary Moreau to work in Quebec for a period of three years for a sum of sixty points (about $40.00) all expenses paid. At the end of his contract he decided to stay and established himself at l'Ile d'Orleans, QC. On May 17, 1670 he married Gabrielle Mignot and they were blessed with 12 sons and 2 daughters.
Pierre married Gabrielle Marguerite MINEAU on 17 May 1670 in Ste-Famille, Ile d'Orléans, Qc. Gabrielle (daughter of Jean MINEAU and Jeanne CAILLE) was born about 1657 in France; died on 27 Nov 1707 in Ste-Famille, Ile d'Orléans, Qc. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
