Alfred regularly visited the kids and even took them over the weekends. Émérentienne coupled up with René Montpetit and they both raised the kids.

Here, his mother's name might be a mistake from his survivors. The name must not be Boutin because it's her married name so they might have said Montpetit (written Montpeti) and might have been misread, not seing the slash crossing the t, giving Montpeli. But family members agree that he was in Los Angeles prior to his death and the date and place of birth fit exactly.
