- Reggie graduated from Lewiston High School in 1945. After high school, Reggie entered the Army, serving as part of the Occupation Army of Japan. He was quietly proud of his service, but liked to recall his climb of Mt. Fuji in army boots. Reggie later attended Bentley College of Accounting and Finance in Boston, Mass. on the GI Bill, graduating in 1950.
Until he retired to Pine Point in 1993, Reggie resided in Lewiston, where he worked for the Philips Elmet Corporation and then at the B. Peck Company, a well-known department store, where he served as controller for over 20 years.
Reggie later worked for the State of Maine in Augusta, where he became the first director of the Abandoned Property Division. He was recognized nationally for his work in this field.
