Bizarrement, on retrouve une sépulture pour un frère nommé Benjamin en 1839 âgé de 7 mois. Cela correspondrait à son frère Antoine car on retrouve Benjamin à l'âge de 19 ans sur le recensement de 1852, il serait donc né vers 1832.
