- DAYTON -- Leo 'Paul' Dumont, 79, of South St, passed away Friday March 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Biddeford April 12, 1931 the son of Frank and Marie Grenier Dumont and attended Biddeford Schools. Mr. Dumont then worked for over 40 years as a Dye Chemist for West Point Pepperell and later Biddeford Textile. Paul and his family enjoyed playing cards with family and friends most Saturday nights. After his retirement he and his wife, Muriel, enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Mohegan Sun. ÃMr. Dumont is predeceased by his father and a sister Muriel Pellequin. Survivors include his wife of over 55 years, Muriel Boutin Dumont of Biddeford; two sons, Ronald Dumont of New Hampshire and Steven Dumont of Lewiston, three daughters, Susan Perrault of Portland, Linda Hall of Biddeford and Carol Laverriere of Biddeford; two brothers, Richard Dumont of Limerick and Norman Dumont of Maine; several grandchildren; and great- grandchildren. Paul was a member of St. Josephs Church, Good Sheppard Parish. Family and friends may call at the Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral home 365 Main St. Saco Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday 10:00 a.m. at the Dennett, Craig & Pate- Saco.
